Manswood Mooch II |
A series of 30 caches, mostly field puzzles, and including some very original ones and some really quite difficult, set on a very pleasant walk.

Kayak Capers |
A lovely paddle down a beautiful river to find 7 Kayak Capers caches, plus a Choppy Waters cache. One of the caches is very challenging!

Over the Rainbow |
A very tough one for me. I was by climbing myself, and had to repitch in the tree and then climb above the anchor point, both of which I find exceptionally difficult!

Virgo Virginum |
If anyone wonders why this cache is not "top of the charts" it is because it starts with one hand behind its back - with no container there are a bunch of points that no virtual cache can earn. But in every other respect ... A tough cache, done in the company of my dearest friends :-).

A Dizzy Tree Top View |
One of the scariest tree climbs I've done, very high but also very open and exposed, nothing at all around you, which is the worst thing for my phobia.

Hit The Beech |
A high climb, also technically difficult in terms of setting the rope. Very satisfying to finally complete this one.

Blistering Barnacles! |
Recognised the theme of the puzzle immediately, and knew exactly what I needed to do, though it remained a pain in the neck to actually DO it ;-) . And the final was a similar mix - a good climb in the middle of a sea of head high nettles!

An unusual setting in a lovely location. A challenge to get to the base of the tree, a challenge to get the line up and a challenge to make the climb!

This award is really for a varied collection of free climbs at Canford Park of which "Free as a Bird" was the best (i.e. most scary) :-). I would have found them much easier using equipment, but the c/o was watching :-) .

Keep Your Hat On |
A tricky cache due to the overgrowth around the launch point and the profusion of tiny branches at the top that made it hard to get a line over a good size branch.
